29 Nov (NucNet): The China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Arabia to promote cooperation in nuclear science and technology, the CNNC said.
The CNNC and Saudi Arabia also established a working group on nuclear energy to explore the possibilities for cooperation, including nuclear power plant sites, nuclear technology advice and training.
The MoU was signed during a visit by CNNC general manager Qian Zhimin to the Saudi capital Riyadh on 27 November 2013.
