Graham Stuart, the Conservative MP for the northern English constituency of Beverley and Holderness and the UK’s energy security minister, has come out in public opposition to the siting of a proposed geologic disposal facility (GDF) for spent nuclear fuel and other highly radioactive nuclear waste in his constituency in East Yorkshire.
